The role involves precise fitting, alignment, and adjustment of parts to ensure proper operation of machinery and mechanical systems.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
Assemble and fit mechanical components, frames, and metal structures.
Perform cutting, drilling, grinding, and adjustment of metal parts.
Install and align mechanical equipment such as pumps, conveyors, and motors.
Inspect, test, and maintain mechanical systems to ensure proper function.
Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on tools and machinery.
Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter / Metal Fitter.
Knowledge of industrial machinery, mechanical systems, and tools.
Ability to read technical drawings and follow assembly instructions.
Precision, attention to detail, and good hand-eye coordination.
Teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety standards.
Basic welding or machining skills are an advantage.
