An Experienced Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality meals according to recipes, maintaining consistency, and ensuring excellent food presentation and hygiene standards. This role requires strong culinary skills, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to menu and quality standards.
Ensure all meals are cooked and presented consistently and attractively.
Supervise food preparation, portioning, and storage procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.
Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control and ordering supplies.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards).
Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth meal service.
Train or guide junior kitchen staff when required.
Proven experience as a Cook / Chef in restaurants, hotels, or catering services.
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and international cuisines.
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation.
Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
Culinary school diploma or certification is an advantage.
